Workshop and spare parts shop

Biała Podlaska is situated in the Lublin Voivodeship in eastern Poland. The town is located near the border with Belarus. For Jantrans, Podlasie also forms part of its regional area of operation. With Knorr-Bremse, one of our founding partners, Jantrans is working on obtaining its own authorisation.

In Biała Podlaska since 2006

Jantrans has been operating as a garage and vehicle parts supplier since 2006. The business sells spare parts and provides technical support for its customers’ vehicles. It also offers advice on purchasing parts, such as on the correct specification of a spare part.

Positive customer reviews and regional awards are also part of the company’s history. Customers highlight the business’s professionalism and many years of experience. Jantrans offers them technical support, quick repairs and advice on purchasing spare parts.

Brands and scope of repairs

Jantrans repairs motor vehicles and semi-trailers of all makes. These include Volvo, Renault, Scania, DAF, MAN, Mercedes-Benz and Iveco. In the case of semi-trailers, the range includes Schmitz, Krone, Kögel and Wielton. In addition, the company works on axle and chassis components from BPW, SAF, ROR and Gigant.

From fault diagnosis to repair

The range of services includes vehicle diagnostics, mechanical repairs and the replacement of wear parts. Clutches and braking systems also fall within the workshop’s remit.

In the Diagnostics on commercial vehicles The first step, therefore, is to investigate the customer’s complaint. When does the fault occur, under what load and at what temperature? Error logs and measured values supplement this information during the technical inspection.

The guide describes the entire process, from receipt through to functional testing Repair and Diagnosis. In the event of a complaint regarding a clutch, the operation and power transmission may require different test procedures. When carrying out brake work, the condition of wear and mechanical function are taken into account when assessing the system. Suitable Brake pads for Knorr-Bremse systems are allocated according to the respective brake type.

Maintenance in day-to-day workshop operations

As well as carrying out repairs, Jantrans provides air-conditioning servicing and oil and filter changes. Wheel alignment is also included in the range of services.

Oil, filters and wheel alignment

When changing the oil, the manufacturer’s specifications determine the approved oil type, the fill level and the appropriate change interval. When selecting a filter, the engine type and specific vehicle model must be taken into account. The documentation then records which operating fluids and parts were used.

During a climate control service, the condition of the system and any potential leaks are checked before any further work is carried out. Unusual tyre wear, in turn, may be a reason to check the wheel alignment. This professional procedure also includes an inspection of mechanical components.

Mobile service across borders

Jantrans offers a mobile service that comes to the customer’s location. In addition, the company has set up a mobile breakdown service in the Netherlands and northern Germany. This service forms part of our partner’s own service offering.

Assistance at the vehicle’s location

A mobile commercial vehicle service is a workshop service in which technicians travel to the vehicle’s location. There, they assess the issue and carry out the necessary work on site. The repairs that can be carried out depend on the fault, the equipment they have with them and the working conditions. More extensive repairs may require the vehicle to be taken to a workshop afterwards.

For on-site assistance, the technician needs as much specific information as possible about the vehicle. This includes its location, registration number, the nature of the fault and whether the vehicle is roadworthy. Photographs of damaged components or warning messages displayed on the dashboard can also help with the preparation.

Who Reduce downtimes If you wish to do so, please have this information to hand when you first get in touch. This will enable us to put together the necessary testing equipment and any spare parts more effectively.

Janusz Matczuk’s next steps

At the service reception, owner Janusz Matczuk welcomes our team from Alltrucks Poland. During our conversation, he explains how they access technical vehicle data and how his team undergoes further training.

„Thanks to our membership of the European workshop network Alltrucks, we have direct access to the vehicles“ factory data.”
— Janusz Matczuk, owner of Jantrans

According to Matczuk, this approach makes the technical team’s work easier. In addition, the team is once again taking part in a series of technical training sessions.

Training and planned authorisation

The technical training courses are delivered through our Alltrucks Training programme. At Jantrans, the next step is to complete a certification. Matczuk describes the associated plan in detail:

„This means that we will shortly complete the certification process and obtain independent authorisation to carry out warranty repairs on Knorr-Bremse assemblies and systems.“
— Janusz Matczuk, owner of Jantrans

New to our range: Jantrans has recently launched a mobile breakdown service in the Netherlands and northern Germany.

According to Matczuk, Jantrans is also investing in further development and modern diagnostic methods. His aim is to carry out better and faster repairs on his customers’ vehicles. In doing so, he intends to respond to market expectations and continue to run Jantrans as a reliable business.

We wish Jantrans steady, sustained growth within our shared network.
