Bosch at the 2026 Truck Grand Prix

The ADAC Truck Grand Prix According to Bosch, the event attracted a total of 135,000 visitors. Bosch had a stand measuring 15 × 15 metres. There, the team met truckers, wholesalers and other visitors. Product demonstrations and hands-on activities formed the main part of the programme throughout the race weekend. Over the course of the race weekend, the stand became a meeting place for the trucking community.

Visitors were able to take a close look at the truck parts on display at the stand. Bosch also gave a live demonstration of the KTS Truck diagnostic tool.

The live demonstrations by KTS Truck were among the features on offer at the Bosch stand. These included vehicle selection, access to control units and the display of diagnostic information. The functions available on each individual vehicle depend on its specification and software coverage.

A diagnostic tool is a device used to communicate with electronic control units in a vehicle. Depending on the vehicle and the software, it enables fault codes and operating data to be read out. In the workshop, this information is collated with the described fault symptoms, technical documentation and measurements. This determines the next steps to be taken when testing the affected system.

The mechanic then checks, for example, cables, plug connections or the supply voltage. The technical information from vehicle manufacturers provide vehicle-specific test specifications and pin-out diagrams for this purpose.

According to Bosch, the interactive filter-changing challenge attracted around 400 participants to the stand. Visitors were able to have a go themselves and take part in the competition. Changing filters is also one of the routine maintenance tasks carried out at our partner garages.

When changing an oil filter, for example, the mounting surfaces and seals must remain clean. Tightening specifications and the required post-installation checks are also part of the job. An autograph session with Jochen Hahn was one of the other events on the programme at the stand. The six-time European champion drives for Hahn Racing, a team supported by Bosch. Many fans took the opportunity to meet the racing driver. Bosch also used the occasion to highlight its connection to truck racing.

The stand team wore matching uniforms bearing the words „Bosch Truck Team“. Bosch deckchairs, promotional gifts and a prize draw rounded off the offerings for visitors. According to Bosch, these elements encouraged visitor engagement and interaction at the stand.

Bosch attracted further attention thanks to an interview on the Truck Grand Prix’s Fan TV channel. The broadcast was shown live on screens throughout the event site. This meant that information about Bosch’s presence also reached visitors outside the exhibition area.
