For six days, Hanover became the A meeting place for the international commercial vehicle and transport sector. The trade fair took place from 15 to 20 September, with Alltrucks exhibiting at stand E32 in Hall 12. Manufacturers presented new vehicle concepts, suppliers showcased solutions for electric mobility and hydrogen, and topics such as digitalisation, connectivity and artificial intelligence were omnipresent.

Yet, despite all the major topics for the future, it was above all the personal encounters that made the IAA 2026 so special for us.

Thank you for visiting!

Our stand in Hall 12 served as a meeting point for existing partners, workshops, prospective customers, industry representatives and many new contacts. We discussed, asked questions, probed further and talked together about the issues shaping the commercial vehicle sector and our workshops, both today and in the future.

We would therefore like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited us at the IAA. Thank you for your time, your questions, your ideas and the many open discussions we had.

Ten years of partnership with Michels

There was also cause for celebration at the stand: Janine Alflen and Andreas Gläser from Michels KFZ Werkstätte celebrated ten years of partnership with Alltrucks. Also present were Norman Binde, Managing Director of Sales at Alltrucks, and Peter Ortmann, Sales Manager for DACH and the Netherlands. We’ll be featuring the family-run business from Hahn am See in the Michels workshop portrait before.

The industry is on the move

The IAA has made it clear: the changes in the commercial vehicle sector have long been a reality. Electric drives, Hydrogen, digitalisation, connectivity and artificial intelligence are continuing to evolve and are changing more than just the vehicles on the road. The demands placed on garages are also changing.

New powertrains require new expertise. New vehicles require new Diagnostic and servicing options. At the same time, new technologies are opening up new areas of business.

When future technology turns into real business opportunities

A new electric lorry needs more than just a battery and state-of-the-art drive technology. It also needs garages that can service, diagnose and repair it.

A hydrogen-powered lorry needs more than just fuel cell technology. It needs skilled workers, the relevant expertise and a service network that understands this technology. That is why Alltrucks is specifically expanding its range of services in these areas.

SuperPanther and SANY eTrucks

With SuperPanther Alltrucks is working on integrating modern electric commercial vehicles into the European service network. This gives our partners the opportunity to gain expertise in all aspects of new Electric lorry technologies to establish and position itself to provide these services.

Cooperation with SANY eTrucks, supported by Putzmeister shows how a new vehicle concept can be turned into a tangible workshop business. Alltrucks is supporting the development of the European service network for SANY’s electric lorries. Qualified partners can establish themselves as authorised SANY-Putzmeister service points and thus undertake the maintenance, diagnostics and repair of these vehicles.

This brings electric mobility within reach: on the road and in the workshop.

Hydrogen is also becoming a concrete service business

And the future isn’t just about electric vehicles. With RYGG powered by REFIRE Alltrucks is working on setting up a Service network for hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles and their fuel cell systems. Partner garages can obtain the necessary qualifications and, following appropriate training and equipping, be authorised as service partners.

The manufacturer is developing fuel-cell lorries for the European market and is relying on its partnership with Alltrucks to establish its after-sales network.

The RYGG tractor was also on display at the IAA, clearly illustrating the point: new vehicle technologies need a strong service network right from the start.

For Alltrucks, this means working with partners to create concrete avenues to new technologies and, consequently, to new business areas.

Knowledge is becoming a prerequisite

New technologies open up opportunities, but they also bring new challenges. That is why training is a natural part of Alltrucks’ operations. Together with BHFM Technologies are practice-oriented High-voltage and hydrogen training courses offered. To get started with the electric lorry service, the options include, amongst others, HV Level 1 and HV Level 2S qualifications available.

This creates a synergy between expertise, technical support, diagnostics, strong industry partners and concrete service opportunities.

This is the approach taken by Alltrucks: we don’t simply want to inform our partners about the changes taking place in the industry. We want to give them the opportunity to make the most of these changes for their own workshops.

Multi-brand expertise remains at the heart of our business

Because even though new propulsion technologies are becoming increasingly important, one thing remains the same: commercial vehicle workshops must be flexible.

Different makes, different systems, different powertrains: day-to-day workshop life isn’t getting any easier. Alltrucks’ multi-make approach lays the groundwork for this. With multi-make diagnostics, technical information, Alltrucks training courses, a helpline and other services, we support our partners in dealing with a wide range of vehicles and technologies.

The rule is: anything goes, nothing is compulsory.

Each workshop decides for itself which technologies and business areas are best suited to its own focus. Alltrucks creates the conditions for this and brings the right partners together.

Achieving more together

A trade fair appearance like this also thrives on strong partnerships. We would therefore like to extend our special thanks to HENI, Behrens Parts, Semmler Tachocontrol and RYGG for their support and for helping to shape our presence at the IAA.

We would also like to thank BPW and to everyone else involved who have supported our popular Alltrucks goodie bags with their contributions.

And, of course, to everyone who, both in front of and behind the scenes, helped make IAA Transportation 2026 such a special event for Alltrucks.

After all, the future is not shaped by new technologies alone. It is shaped where people, expertise and strong partnerships come together.

That’s exactly what we’re taking away from Hanover: lots of new contacts, fascinating conversations and plenty of inspiration for the next steps.

The 2026 IAA has shown the direction in which the commercial vehicle industry is heading. For Alltrucks, the aim is to work with our partners to ensure that our workshops not only respond to this development, but can also turn it into new opportunities for their own businesses.

More brands. More success. A brighter future.
